Live-Online BPMN Training and Certification

Now you don’t have to travel to get live BPMN training. You can get live-online BPMN training over the Internet!  Get full BPMN Level 1 and Level 2 training based on Bruce Silver’s proven Method and Style approach in a three-day virtual classroom, complete with individualized post-class certification.   Level 1 – now officially recognized by OMG as the BPMN “Descriptive” modeling subclass – uses a limited palette of BPMN shapes and symbols, familiar to business users from traditional flowcharting. Level 2 – the new Analytic subclass – leverages an expanded palette, including intermediate events, for specifying exception handling important to executable process design.

How Does It Work?

Most of the virtual classroom training events run from 8am-1pm PT or 11am-4pm ET (in Europe CET, that’s 5-10pm).  You’ll access the training through a browser window, and edit your own BPMN diagrams in another window.  Our public live-online classes now support both Process Modeler for Visio, an add-in to Visio 2003, 2007, or 2010, or Signavio, a zero-footprint cloud-based BPMN editor.  Each class is based on one tool or the  other; for Process Modeler, you’ll need a PC with Visio 2003, 2007, or 2010 installed.  We’ll provide the BPMN add-in.  With both tools, the price of the training includes 60-day use of the tool following the class, and post-class certification.

The virtual classroom format leverages a great e-learning platform from iLinc.  Similar to Webex or Adobe Connect, iLinc supports online presentations with 2-way interaction, including Internet audio, chat (public and private), and private “look-in” to student desktop.

How Much Does It Cost?

The normal price is $1095 for a single student, dropping to $995 each if you register 5, and $895 for 10 or more.  That includes post-class certification of BPMN proficiency, based on an online exam and a mail-in exercise, with individualized feedback from Bruce Silver.

2013 Schedule

Here is the schedule of BPMN Method and Style live-online training for 2013.  The class runs on three consecutive days, tentatively Monday to Wednesday from 8am to 1pm US Pacific time, which is 11am to 4pm US Eastern time.  However, some classes may be adjusted to be more convenient for Europe or Australia/New Zealand.  If you are in one of these areas and have a group of 7 or more, and can commit early, you have a chance to influence that.  Contact me directly in that case.  The current price is $1095 (1), $995 (5-9), $895 (10+).   Click here to register.
